Sub-Committee Positions

We’re excited to open up several sub-committee positions for the 2025 season. If you're excited about making an impact on our community through a more consistent role-based volunteering opportunity, this is the application for you! Expand the position to learn more.

  • Pride of Southern Utah is seeking a volunteer (or two) to act as ambassadors for our Queer Coffee event located at Gaia’s Garden Cafe in St. George.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Ensuring monthly queer coffees at Gaia's Garden have a section reserved for attendees and that signage indicating our section is visible.

    • Welcoming attendees and ensuring they are connected with anyone else attending the event.

    • Periodically planning for special events or topics (i.e. drawing or knitting, information/learning sessions, guest speakers, etc.)

  • Seeking an individual to help us grow and mature our social media presence by:

    • Creating a content calendar to ensure regular posts and content variation.

    • Coordinating with design to develop assets for posts.

    • Advertising events to ensure maximum reach.

    • Helping to generate ideas on how to scale.

  • We are seeking an individual to help us coordinate entertainment for this years PRIDE Festival.

    This position requires time before the festival as well as attendance for the full hours of the PRIDE Festival on 9/27/25.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Coordinating with our stage and sound provider to schedule setup, take down, and ensure specs meet performer needs.

    • Securing a generator (according to specs) to power the sound system.

    • Sourcing local talent via an online application and review process.

    • Creating a stage lineup & schedule for festival day.

    • Communication and coordination with performers.

    • Acting as stage manager on the day of the festival to ensure performers are on schedule.

ONE-TIME Volunteer Opportunities

A smaller time commitment (specific to an event), but still extremely important to our organization! A great way to get involved and see how you like it!
