IN MASON’S OWN WORDS
Howdy y'all! I am super excited that Pride of Southern Utah has invited me to do a storytelling program as part of this year's Southern Utah Pride. This will be an hour long program followed by some Q&A.
For those who haven't attended one of my storytelling programs, I typically tell traditional Nakoda stories and teach the lessons contained within them. I then relate them to my personal life and experiences. I am told a lot that what makes my programs special is that I am very open and vulnerable.
For this special Pride program I am planning to talk about my experience as a queer person and what that means to me.
A couple years ago I came out as bisexual (and maybe not totally cis?). It's not something I've really talked about too much. I hope this can be a positive, healing experience for all of us.
See y'all there.
